This is a fun side-project I've worked off and on for the past week. I've gotten to a point where I loathe it and just want to scribble all over it and toss it in a digital fire, which generally means it's time to stop messing with it for now. :XD: I may revisit it in the future.

Yes, it is an Argonian from Oblivion! A take on my current character Sings-Songs-Softly. He's resting, on alert. . . and seems to be tending his bow, Whisper.

I usually flee as far away from backgrounds as humanly possible. I haven't done one in a while, and now you know why. Oi! XD

Swamp Sentinel by *Atomic-Chocograph "I think what I like most about it is how it uses such lovely warm colours and lighting to depict what might be expected to be a cold-blooded character in a dark, damp environment of the swamp. I think this creates a unique clash between what I feel about the atmosphere of the picture and what I think I should feel. Combine these elements with awesome anatomy and posture, subtle textures, flowing interaction with the detailed background and then box it up in a border reminiscent of an illustrated fairy-tale book and you have one deviation I feel highly deserving of recognition." OHH epic win. I love the Argonians and especially amazing fan art done by talented artists. hehe wait till you get all of the nifty gear and such designed for your character, then ya got to do another painting of him then ;)

I don't know why you hate it so much; it doesn't look that bad... then again, I've been looking at it for about seven seconds and you've been looking at it for the past seven days.

Where exactly do you find disfavor with this? And don't say "it took me too long" (stoke the flames of jealousy about my work ethic), or else Splinter Grunt might just add you to "The List."

I never play anything BUT argonians! :3 They're just so much more interesting than the other races....hehehe. =P
